Las Vegas’ M Resort announced that William Hill will be replacing CG Technology as the casino’s sportsbook operator starting in May. No reason was given other than CG Technology saying it chose not to renew its lease. William Hill now has 115 Nevada locations.

In other Las Vegas sportsbook news, sign up for the Westgate SuperBook’s famed SuperContest is now open. With visitors coming to Las Vegas for March Madness, the early sign-up date will likely push the number of entries well past last year’s 3,123.

“I’m sure we’re going to have a lot more first-time contestants because of it,” Westgate sportsbook vice president Jay Kornegay said. “We’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback, and people are excited about it.

“It’s not just for people coming in for March Madness. But for those coming for conference tournaments and the Final Four, baseball season, the Kentucky Derby and during the NHL and NBA playoffs. It really does encompass a lot more events prior to past years.”
