College Basketball Betting: Under Bias Remains Strong for Conference Tournaments

It doesn’t take much to notice that oddsmakers tend to shade conference tournament games towards the under, especially when you have games involving teams on the bubble or a loss away from their season ending. But not every game is a Big Ten-esque slugfest with 58 possessions. Last night, totals went 30-32 O/U based on the closing number. Because there are so many different types of games — do or die, meaningless, one possession late, foul fests, etc. — there is no across-the-board betting approach to beating conference tournaments. Each game deserves its own individual handicap. And while I agree most of these games tend to be played closer to the vest compared to the regular season, there were plenty that featured pace, points, and poor defense. With that being said, below I listed some games for tonight that have the biggest under bias based on the regular season meeting(s).
